This was my September BOTM pick!
“Three women, one big secret, and the betrayal that threatens to destroy their lives” …. who can resist such an intriguing psychological thriller?
Although I wouldn’t say this is one of my favorite stories of all time…. I can absolutely say that it was still a great read. The characters were dynamic and the interwoven plots twists kept me guessing. The execution of the story as a whole was solid but some of the details felt a little strained and at times, a little rushed. I really appreciate the author’s fluent writing style without it feeling weighted down or dragging though. I easily finished this book in one sitting.
This is my first experience with Sarah Pinborough, and I’ll definitely read some of her other books in the future.
