Our Review

I know I am one of the FEW people who just didn’t care for this series, but…. well…. I just couldn’t. The plot was interesting but the characters felt rather dull. As the books continued I felt bored…. like a series that should have ended long before it did.

Don’t get my wrong! Rowling has a skill for writing, but I was expecting more excitement for a book in this genre. For the length of these books which average 300-400 pages, there’s not a whole lot going on within them to justify all 7 books being that long.

In summary, decent books with a good plot idea but series felt like it dragged on longer than it needed to be.
