Synopsis

The Wheel of Time turns and Ages come and go, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth returns again. Our Review

After countless recommendations from my wife to read these books, I finally got around to reading these. I must say…. I’m quite impressed with these books and officially believe my wife knows me better than I do. 😛

This is the first book of the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan, and is a great introduction to the world he creates here. We meet a number of interesting characters; each having their own unique situations, abilities, and struggles. Jordan does an excellent job telling their stories!

The Eye of the World is a fairly fast paced Fantasy/Sci-Fi novel that keeps the readers interested and wanting more. I experienced the audiobook version during my daily commute and think that the voice actors did a good job distinguishing between the characters, their attitudes, and the moods of the various sections of the book. After having finished, I immediately looked into getting more of this series.
