I read this book after having watched the movie multiple times. One thing to note about this book is that it starts out really slow… The character building in the beginning of the book was actually a bit difficult to get through, however, once they reached the island the story really picked up.
The events that take place in the book differ quite a bit from the events in the movie, however the way the events unfold throughout this book turned out to be much more enjoyable than the movie itself.
Once the action begins it just does not stop until the end of the book. I found myself on the edge of my seat and could hardly put the book down! I am glad I fought through the slow start and was able to get to the action.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone that likes dinosaurs or enjoyed any of the Jurassic movie series.
