World Book Day is the biggest celebration of its kind. The aim of it is to celebrate authors, books, illustrators and (of course) reading!

It was first celebrated on April 23, 1995, and continues to be recognized on that day. A related event in the UK and Ireland is observed in March.

How are you celebrating World Book Day?
Me? I’ll be binge reading “Sold On A Monday” by Kristina McMorris. I was in the hospital last week with a complicated Kidney Infection and was finally discharged Easter Sunday. Since I’ll be doing IV infusions for awhile and took some time off of work for recovery…. now seems as good as time as any to catch up on my TBR pile!

Do you usually read your books in spurts or binge read in long sessions? ⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣I’m notorious for late night binge reading but I’m also that girl you see reading in the waiting room, or coffee shop. I literally carry my books everywhere so a good book sleeve is a must for me. ⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣
Speaking of which, I came across these gorgeous covers on Etsy from Five Sprouts Stitching and they are by far the *best* book sleeves I have ever owned. I love the button closure flap to keep my book secure as well as the pocket for my pens and other items.  It even came with a matching bookmark! Does it get any better than that?! ⁣⁣⁣⁣💗
⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣I should probably disclose that I paid for these covers myself and I am in no way affiliated with the store. I am legitimately thrilled with this product and just had to share with my fellow book lovers.⁣ 😘⁣⁣

⁣⁣HAPPY READING, EVERYONE!
